Not usually supposed to update today, but I just wanted to. Maybe I’ll update every Wednesday and Sunday? We’ll see.
Site’s still not completely done. I hope you guys don’t have too much trouble figuring out how to navigate properly. I hope you guys are enjoying! Still have no idea how many of you there are. Ha ha.
I hope that woman looks old enough. I probably should have practiced drawing her more before popping her in there. Hum.
EDIT: Man I need to figure out how these replies work properly…. Mine all just kind of end up in a row. Ha ha.

for an old woman her eyes look a little to big but its allright!
nice work
I was happily surprised to see you’d updated today.
Great page.
Looking fantastic this far! Page 4 was so dramatic.
Keep up the great work!
Hopefully it drew you in successfully. Ha ha.
Hello, I found your page through `the Meek.`
This is a very interesting start and I`ll be following! Keep up the great work!
Nice! Thanks a lot, hopefully I don’t disappoint.
Nifty comic so far, and the old woman looks appropriately old. I just figured that round eyes was part of the overall styling of the art.
Hurray! That’s good. It is part of the styling. Gotta make styles work for all ages though… ha ha.
I really like the art style. clicked the link from Der-shing’s Meek, This peeked my interest and I’ll continue to read. Great work.
Came from The Meek, and this looks promising!
I’ll be following you as well!
A fellow visitor from The Meek.
I absolutely adore the way you draw – it looks like water colors.
You’ve definitely been bookmarked, can’t wait for more!
Thanks! I was contemplating actually doing the comic in watercolour, but it came out too time consuming and hard to edit. For comics, you gotta draw so much, editing is important.
Interesting brush style you use in your work – reminds me of Okami – which was a beautiful game to experience.I look forward to your updates. In any case, I’m also a Meek follower who clicked a link an am now intrigued with your story!
Hey there! I also came through the Meek website (how many of us are there??) And I gotta say, I love your style! I’m a sucker for brush strokes and, well, most sketchy styles. It’s really gorgeous, and I look forward to seeing more!
Any amount is not too much! I’m pleased you guys are coming over. Glad you like it!
I love ate overall artwork reminds me of the great game Okami!
Reminds me of Zelda: wind waker style a bit.
Interesting! I actually went through a bunch of houses/interiors in that game in order to get a feel for drawing those kinds of things, as well as referencing photos. They’re set in a similar kind of world so it seemed it’d be a good idea.
I LOVE your style in this, I could almost tell your an animator. Very good intro, cant wait to see how it futhers now
<3
Ha ha, interesting! You’re not the first person that said that. I suppose my focus on motion over form shows through a bit. H
your style is beautiful, keep up the good work!!
it looks so cute, reminds me so much of okami :3
Hi, I found your comic via The Meek. Excellent so far; I’m looking forward to more! Lovely style you’re using here.
Do you have an RSS feed? Syndicating your updates is a sure-fire way to guarantee that I follow your releases religiously. I’m not the only person following webcomics via aggregators, though — if you syndicate, you’ll open up your comic to the myriad social networking functionality built into aggregators like Google Reader, Netvibes, et al, thus increasing your viewership!
Hmmmmmm that could be a good idea. I’ll look into it! Right now I’m just trying to focus on getting pages done, but there’s still a lot of work to be done on the site. Unfortunately I’m not the best coder =/
Another link from “meek” here. I really like the combintation of ink/watercolor you’ve got going on here. Nifty!
I remember coming across this comic a while back before the new start (re-stumbled via the Meek). The new layout looks much better and the story is off to a better start. From what I can remember, your art is more consistent and looks great as well! It does remind me of Zelda/Okami, but it’s got it’s own liveliness to it. I’m really looking forward to the story!
Ha ha, that’s funny! Cool that it turned up again. I’m hoping this version turns out a lot better and I’ll see it through to the end.
I’ll save you from reiterating how your scribbly brushstrokes are very pleasing to the eye, you’ve heard it far too much by now =]
I’d say make her cheeks a bit saggier and her hair a little scragglier- unless she is supposed to have lovely, thick hair. Her wrinkles are perfect. She looks like a healthy 70yo woman. I love her little actions.
Ha ha yeah that could help. It’s tough though because I wanted her to look old, but not too old, and I wanted her to look healthy.
Wonderful work!
Another incoming fan from the Meek! I adore your style- especially how, even though you switched to digitally drawing the comic, it still retains that ‘hand-drawn’ feel. The story looks promising. Keep up the amazing work!
This is an extremely new style–at least, new as far as I’ve seen! I’m diggin’ it tremendously.
That said, I support the notion of updating twice weekly. I just can’t seem to get into one update per week; the story just feels like it moves too slow. D: But that’s just me–and I’m only one reader, after all.
she’s a CUTE old woman.
Found this webcomic through The Meek as well and i’m so glad i did. The art is absolutely beautiful and totally my style. I love painting in water colors and this reminds me so much of that. By the way, love the cute old lady, she looks old enough to me XD
I love your artwork. I don’t say that often as I’m quite fussy, but this I really like. It’s simple, in the best sense of the word, which is what impresses me most.
